This video is about a waterproof test for the Gear Fit2. I’ve actually worn it in the shower … Hold on one second, buddy … several times. I’m really not afraid to run water over it. I don’t think I would swim with it or dunk it in water, but even then I suspect that it would still probably work just fine. You can see.
I even use it in the shower. It’s extremely close to waterproof without actually being waterproof. The touchscreen is a little bit more finicky when it’s wet, but, otherwise, it’s still working just fine. This is not the first time.
I probably wouldn’t charge it immediately afterwards. I’d let it dry first. Other than that, everything seems to be good. I’ve done something like that several times, and it works just fine. Like this video.
